Snake Overlay – Power-Ups & Lives

Snake Overlay – Play on Any Page turns any website into a classic Snake arena overlay. This page is your equip screen between levels: use the in-game points you earned from previous rounds to select power-ups and extra lives, then jump back into the game better prepared for the next challenge.

Power-ups help you adapt to different page layouts (busy pages, tight spaces, long corridors). Choose the right tool for the level, equip it here, and it’ll be ready in-game.

How This Page Works

• After game over → come here between levels to equip.
• Select power-ups that match the next level’s layout and difficulty.
• Return to the overlay to continue your run with your new loadout.

Using Lives

If you fail a level, you can spend an extra life to continue:

• Use Life to Retry – Replay the same level and keep your score.

Power-Ups & Hotkeys (in-game)

Activate these anytime during play with keyboard shortcuts:

• F — Fireball: Blast through obstacles. Each fireball removes one blocker.
• S — Shield: 5 seconds of invincibility; collisions won’t end your run.
• D — Speed Down: Slow-motion for 10 seconds; the snake moves at half speed for tighter control.

Quick Tips

• Use Shield on crowded pages with many blockers or tight turns.
• Save Fireball for unavoidable walls or single choke points.
• Trigger Speed Down before tricky corners or when the pace ramps up.
